To install\u00a0Joomla\u00a0<\/strong>on your website, you must first download the installation file from official website joomla.org by clicking\u00a0this<\/a>\u00a0link. On page, click “Downlad Now” under archive with desired extention (we recommend .zip)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to upload a Joomla file to the server?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We assume that you have already purchased hosting with cPanel management panel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All descriptions in this guide are based on the Smarthost hosting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to properly install and configure Joomla?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After preparing the files on the server, we can start the\u00a0Joomla<\/strong>\u00a0installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We enter the address of our website in the web browser, e.g. www.customer-domain.eu. After entering the address, if everything was successful, we should see the\u00a0Joomla<\/strong>\u00a0installation screen, where we provide the information necessary for the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\u00a0“Site name”<\/em>\u00a0field (1), enter the site name of your choice (example: joomla_customer).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\u00a0“Email”<\/em>\u00a0field (2), enter email address. It can be an external email (eg your email on gmail.com) or an email set up on your server (guide\u00a0“How to set up an email in cPanel”<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\u00a0“Username”<\/em>\u00a0field (3), enter the name of the user who will manage our website (example: customer_joomla).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\u00a0“Password”<\/em>\u00a0field (4) and\u00a0“Confirm password”<\/em>, enter the password to the administration panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completing all the required information, click the\u00a0“Next”<\/em>\u00a0button (field 5).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
