To easily install the Moodle application using the Softaculous auto-installer, log in to cPanel, then under Software<\/strong>, go to Softaculous Apps Installer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Softaculous Apps Installer<\/strong> auto-installer on the left, search for the phrase \u201cMoodle\u201d or alternatively find the application on its own in the Educational<\/strong> category. Then press the blue Install<\/strong> Now<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be shown the Moodle installation configuration page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The place where you should select the domain on which you want to install the Moodle application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The directory where you want to install the Moodle application e.g. when you type moodle directory our application will be installed in moodle folder, and it will be available at: https:\/\/selected-domain.eu\/moodle\/ – if you want the page to be displayed using the address https:\/\/selected-domain.eu you should leave it blank here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Ability to select the version of the application you want to install.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. \u201cSite Name\u201d – here we enter the name of our site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. \u201cSite Description\u201d – here we enter a description of our site.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      In the section Admin Account<\/strong> – we set the name, email address and password for the administrator account. Be sure to set a strong password<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Below, you can additionally select the language in which you want our application to be installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In the last section Advanced Options<\/strong>, we can set the database name to our preference and disable update notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The last thing that remains is to press the Install<\/strong> button. After a while, a message will appear informing you that the software has been successfully installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
