Smarthost datacenter power is supplied from independent and separate power feed lines. In order to ensure the continuity in our server systems we use automatic power supply switching.

Power stability is ensured, among others, by:

• automatic switching between primary and backup power sources (and switching them back to the main power source after failure elimination),
• protection from parallel operation of multiple enabled power sources,
• signaling the accuracy of voltage and other parameters.

The power supply automation system works in the same capacity, so in case of power failure the primary system automatically switches to the backup source with the same parameters.

In case of failure of two substations we have a backup power source allowing to supply devices without an external power source.
